A Celebration of Refugee Resettlement
New Hampshire is fortunate to be home to nearly 100,000 refugees and other immigrants. In a state with an aging population - New Americans are playing a critical role in the state’s labor force.
However, recent federal policy changes have created new challenges for New Americans, refugees, and asylum seekers. The refugee resettlement infrastructure has been significantly reduced, and many people here legally are facing increased difficulty renewing work permits and green cards.
And yet, we know this is not who most Americans are. Across New Hampshire and around the country, people continue to reject fear and division and instead choose compassion, fairness, and welcome.
That’s why we invite you to stand with us and make your values visible.
Join BCNH and our special guest speakers on Thursday April 23rd 5-7pm at Eversource’s Energy Park in Manchester for a joyful, powerful celebration of refugee resettlement—and a clear statement that New Hampshire welcomes refugees and immigrants.
Our state needs a growing workforce, our communities need young and vibrant families, and displaced people around the world need safe and welcoming places to live. If you share these beliefs, we would be honored to celebrate them with you.
